Case Study

Undisclosed Commune, France.

Net Zero Strategy Options.

REP Projects has identified a typical commune's challenges to respond to their obligations to reduce GHG Emissions. Local consensus has resulted in a firm rejection of wind turbines (Eoliennes) plus PV avoidance to a lack of suitable roof structures, combined with a 2018 hail storm damage that destroyed hundreds of roofs and cars.

However, this commune does have superb opportunities for hydroelectric generation harnessing the local river, including the potential to use several existing watermills. One of REP Project's suggestion is to utilise our solution to provide wholesale electricity production to their ideally located industrial site.

By repurposing and retrofitting, REPP the cost of using a non-repurposed equipment solution is proving to be cost prohibitive.
